The gifts we receive in our childhood often times only provide us with mere minutes of enjoyment; sometimes hours of enjoyment if we're lucky. For Jesper Justesen, one gift he received at the age of 14 provided him with a lifetime of enjoyment. As a boy, Jesper got his first camera from his mother and he never looked back. This one gift has provided him with entertainment, fulfillment, happiness... a career!

Having travelled all over the world, Jesper has met amazing people, seen incredible places and created a portfolio of photography anyone would be proud of. He spent a good part of his early years in the trade studying under some amazing photographers in Denmark. Shooting astounding portraits, Jesper has created his own unique, dynamic style and has been able to shoot names like Kanye West, Vanessa Beecroft, Marin Ireland, Interpol, Ryan O’Nan and more.

Now, our gift to you: we're going to take you in a little deeper to find out exactly what makes Jesper who he is.

Tell us about your art and how you got involved with photography?

Photography, is painting with light and catching or creating moments in life. I shoot mostly advertisement and portrait, but have had a long career with Still-life photography.  As a young boy I started photographing with a small camera, my mom gave me, when I was 14. Who would had thought, it would bring me around this amazing planet, meeting great new people and capturing there inner shine. I was in apprenticeship with some fantastic photographers back in Denmark. I do owe them a huge thanks for teaching me and expecting me to always do my best
