When Republic Records and Art Department LA approached Plaid Pony to produce the campaign for Miranda Lambert’s new album Postcards from Texas, we knew this project called for something as authentic and expansive as the music itself. After collaborating with Miranda’s team and photographer James Macari, we scouted and secured the perfect location: Montesino Ranch in Wimberley, TX, a backdrop that brought the creative vision to life.
From there, Plaid Pony managed every detail of production: locations, crew, logistics, and execution. Working hand-in-hand with BIG LOUD, Shopkeeper Management, and Miranda’s team, we pulled together wardrobe, glam, and props into a seamless creative flow. Prop stylist Mack Closmore added striking, imaginative touches that transformed concepts into unforgettable visuals.
To deliver at the highest level, we partnered with an outstanding roster of vendors and agencies, including Seaminx, Beauty Exchange, Maximize Beauty, Spice & Thyme Catering, Texas Grip Studios, and Milk Studios.
From first concept to final frame, Plaid Pony produced a campaign that not only celebrated Miranda Lambert’s artistry but also captured the unmistakable spirit of Texas—creating imagery and content that feel both iconic and timeless.
