Client Testimonials
SimpliSafe

We helped Bose advertise the durable uniquely outdoorsy earbuds by pushing the limits of what an outdoor photoshoot could be. By embracing and, at times, braving the elements of a Vancouver forest, we proved to our client's audience that this product performed under even the most intense conditions.

Bose approached us with a wild, high-stakes brief. They were launching a brand-new waterproof tech product and needed a creative location shoot that leaned heavily into the elements.
The dream? A massive stadium backdrop, heavy rain, snow, mountains, camping, you name it! The reality? Creating artificial rain is incredibly expensive, snow is seasonal, shooting in world-class stadiums involves mountains of red tape, and the budget was tight. We needed to push the creative boundaries without breaking the bank. Stacy Scarsella, our executive producer, looked at the brief and immediately knew how to turn a logistical storm into a production win. Instead of renting expensive rain and snow machines on a Hollywood backlot, she suggested Vancouver, Canada. Stacy’s strategy was brilliant: head somewhere where the unpredictable weather worked for us, capturing authentic, heavy rain, and blizzards naturally while unlocking massive international savings. We handled absolutely every logistical headache from the ground up, navigating complex international insurance, workers' comp, legal contracts, and securing crucial work visas for the core crew. Stacy partnered with top-tier Canadian talent, providing valuable jobs to local crew members who knew the terrain inside and out. We even hiked for over an hour in snowshoes to reach the permit spot to shoot the snow scenes! Managing this shoot was a masterclass in synchronization. We were balancing a multi-threat production, shooting high-end photography, motion graphics, and drone footage simultaneously.
Our team had to precisely time the natural downpours while seamlessly coordinating with stadium operators and lighting technicians to make sure every drop of water caught the light perfectly. It was a high-pressure environment where every second counted, but the pieces came together beautifully without sacrificing a single line item on the budget. This international ride wasn’t just a shoot… it was a reminder that with teamwork, flawless logistics, and a little rain-splattered grit, you can deliver heavy-hitting creative without the heavy price tag.
The result was exactly what Bose asked for…stunning visuals that showcased their new technology against a legendary backdrop. The Ponies pulled it off again, internationally!
Watch out, world…the Ponies are global!
